The Margaret Fuller Women's Culture Center has embarked on a path of research into the roots of the feminine, questioning and questioning multiple disciplines and interacting with the most diverse places of production of female and feminist thought which in Italy and abroad are following the same path , which also passes through the decomposition of apparently consolidated knowledge. During this journey, which began by exploring the theme of creativity, we found ourselves on many occasions investigating what is commonly defined as "spirituality", asking ourselves in particular what effects a heavily and exclusively masculine and patriarchal symbology has produced in women , which is that of monotheistic religions, in whose symbolic universe we were born.

What loss have women suffered in seeing a path to spirituality that could also draw on the roots of the feminine barred? And what loss has humanity suffered through the cancellation of values that, we are sure, were closely related to the feminine matrix of spirituality? How to trace the female roots of Ancient European culture, and bring back the karst survival of the "gilanìa"?

Around these questions we intend to produce thoughts and initiatives that not only give us back the true sense of a past that has belonged to us, and of which we are proud, but above all that help us understand that, as Mary Daly says in Quintessence “it is here and now that our Archaic Future is realized”.
