These PREHISTORY MEETINGS are events organized and created by the editorial staff of the PREHISTORY IN ITALY site and are intended to stimulate interest and disseminate the study of prehistory in our country. What we are publishing is the recording of the first appointment that took place on 13 April 2023 with the professors Annaluisa Pedrotti of the University of Trento and Federica Fontana of the University of Ferrara who shared their studies and illustrated the state of the art of archaeological research on female figurines of the Paleolithic and Neolithic.
